Skype is disconnected

Hey,
First of all: I am very happy to be a Trillian Pro user, but on my desktop PC i can't connect to Skype, while it is working flawless on my Notebook.
PC: Win8 Cust. Prev. 64bit (AMD X6 1090T, 4GB DDR3 RAM, AMD
Radeon HD6950, SSD)
Notebook: Win7 Premium (intel Core i5, 4GB DDR3 RAM, nVidia GeForce
420M, HDD)
What could be the problem?

Click the Skype icon at the top of your buddy list and then click "Show Status Window". That should give us a little information about what is going on with the connection so let me know what it says there.

This is an issue that has been brought to our attention. There are some bugs that we are trying to work on with the folks over at Skype but we dont have any leads yet.
I am sorry I can't be more specific about the problem at this time.

Hi, noticed two days ago, here's the status window print.

I tried: uninstall, deletet all folders, files, cleaned the reg files, reinstalled trillian, set back skype acc. It is random for me now, sometimes it starts correctly and another time it doesnt.

I read some months ago that this was related to skypekit code, so Trillian may not load Skype correctly until code is updated.
However, take a look at this thread:

On post #5 an user called "Claudia" put an easy tweak in order to make Trillian to work as in Windows7, which overrides Windows8 compatibility requirements and allows Skype to work again.
I can confirm that Skype works after changing trillian.exe properties.

Hi I am also a trillian pro user and having the issue w/ Skype not connecting anymore. Is there any chance that there is a fix coming for this? I rely on Trillian daily and not having the Skype support is a real problem. I also noted that it is gone completely from the android version as well. Please help!

Open trillian in compatibility mode WIN XP service pack 2
Works 100%

What the hell is going on with Trillian!?!? This once great program is taking a crap. Skype doesn't connect....and now it has been saying that Astra won't connect. I am officially deleting this from my PC after being a user for at least 4+ years (as long as I can remember). I am so bitter....fix your $hit!!!

Similar error starting a day ago on one of three PCs I use Trillian on (all three are Win 7 x64, but 2 are Pro, one is Home Premium, if that matters at all, and all three have different architectures). Internal SkypeKit errorcode "19"

I did what post #8 said and its fixed now! I was running Windows 8 and changed compatibility mode back to windows 7 and viola!

I had the very same issue on Win8 Pro, ran the compatibility test, it suggested WinXP SP3 first, not working, on 2nd try with Win7 compatibility everything is working ok.

Thanks! Win8/64 Skype would connect for a second or two and then just disconnect. No message not prompt.

Thank you so much for sharing the idea of putting trillian in compatibility mode because skypekit won't work on Win8. Mode of Win7 fixed all problems. :)

hy Guys, had same problem but it was with the version "trillian-v5.2.0.13" But i installed "trillian-v5-3-0-7" then its ok try it out.

getting skypekit internal errorcode 19 on win7 pro x64 on trillian 5.3.14. lots of post saying load an earlier version. where can i find downloads for earlier versions? I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling trillian 5.3.14 and deleting the skype account and readding it but neither solve the problem. I know the userid and password are correct, as I can sign into skype normally. need to get this working. Please let me know where the older downloads are. thanks.

My skype is not showing as online or in use it just shows as if it is offline in dark grey color also not sure even how to add contacts and even if I did know how to it is still showing as offline

I am having the same problem as skype is constantly disconnecting and i have to remove it and re-add it in order for it to work... whats going on with this? Any help would be appreciated as it is getting very annoying...
