Double posts in Skype

I was just chatting with a friend using Skype (I'm using Trillian 5.1 Build 18 Pro, friend was using Skype) and everything that I send and received was double posted, kinda like this:

  I'm glad to see that you are back safely!

  Yeh, it's good to be home...
  Yeh, it's good to be home...

Has anyone else experienced this, know the cause and how to correct?

    Thanks for not replying. So much for getting the Pro version for support.
