Try going to the "Preferences->Skins" section and change back to "No Skin" and see if it shows back up for you.

Here is something you can try:

    1. Shutdown Trillian.
    2. Find and delete BUDDY.INI (in Windows 7/Vista, it's here: C:\Users<Windows Account>\AppData\Roaming\Trillian\users<Astra Account>\; in WindowsXP it's here: C:\Documents and Settings<windows account>\Application Data\Trillian\users<astra account>)
    3. Restart Trillian.

Let me know if it still does not show up.

Okay, let's try something different... Shutdown Trillian. Then go to that path location that I mentioned in step 2 in my earlier message and rename the folder. Restart Trillian and let me know if you're able to see it. If you are, then you can move the subfolders from the "old" folder into the "new" folder (stuff like your log files, etc.). If you're not able to see it, let me know...

    Thanks!

Can you run a search on your computer for "buddy.ini"? It's there but you may have installed to a different directory.

You might need to search for hidden and system files, which is an advanced setting in Windows Explorer. In Windows 7, it should be in the C:\Users<Windows Account>\AppData\Roaming\Trillian\users<Astra Account>\ location.

Thanks guys, the buddy.ini fix worked for me, the contact list for one of my connections went invisible - I could expand some of the groups with the non-visible arrows, and clicking in the blank space opened a conversation window (albeit with a random contact).

I'm having the same issue but only partially. Skype, Yahoo & Astra won't connect. Only AIM and google chat are active and I have tried closing and restarting Trillian, even restarting the entire computer. This has been going on since 2/7 or 2/8.

Try installing Trillian to a different directory on your system and see if the problem follows. If the problem follows to the new installation let us know and we will see if we can figure out what's going on.
