How to disable Facebook notifications?

Hey,
Every five minutes i get those annoying facebook-notifications. I can't disable them because Trillian doesn't save my preferences. If i uncheck all options in "notifications" in my facebook-account, they are all checked again after closing the preferences window.
Any ideas how to turn them off permanently?

I am sorry for the trouble. This is an issue that should be fixed in the next version of Trillian for Mac. Keep an eye on the developers blog for information as it becomes available. http://blog.trillian.im

Does the 1.4.52 build fix this for you? You can snag it from http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1126110/Trillian-1.4.0.52.zip if the update hasn't yet pushed through the App Store.

One facebook, one approach you might want to investigate: Go to the app permissions and change the permissions of the posts that trillian does to be visible only to you.
LinkedIn is another matter - I don't know how to get it so it can be integrated with LinkedIn but not post updates like 'idle' to LinkedIn.

this is super annoying, please fix this asap... I updated just recently to this version of trillian and these notifications fill up my screen constantly.
